About Chili Pepper & Brew Fest

The 5th Annual Snowmass Chili Pepper & Brew Fest combines three fiery components into one smokin' weekend.

Artists

Lyrics Born

Friday, June 6 - 5:00pm
Top-selling, fan-favorite independent hip-hop artist releases his fourth solo album "Everywhere At Once" on April 22, 2008

One of the most critically acclaimed and best-selling independent hip-hop artists of this era, Lyrics Born has sold more than a million copies of his records. He is one of the most licensed rap artists in the world. He recently made his big-screen acting debut. He still makes decisions at his label, Quannum Projects. And while recording, he still averages over 150 sold-out shows a year.

Stephen Marley, Mind Control

Friday, June 6 - 7:00pm - 8:30pm
If you think you don't know the music of Stephen Marley, you do-you just don't realize it. A member of the celebrated Marley sibling group The Melody Makers since the age of seven, the Multi Grammy winning producer, singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist has also been the driving creative force behind the music of his brothers. Stephen's production, performance and writing credits earned him multiple Grammys, while his recent release of “Mind Control” earned him a Grammy for reggae album of the year-giving him a total of six: more than any other Marley family member or reggae artist in history.

The Wildbirds

Saturday, June 7 - 3:00pm
In the backwoods of Wisconsin, in a small cabin 20 miles from even the nearest logging road, 4 lads found a way to escape the city. Unsatisfied with any prior attempts at creating the music that stirred them, they finally found it here. "We spent months in that place, it was our sanctuary," says frontman Nicholas Stuart. "There was a certain moment I recall, after spending the day hunting and fishing for food, we gathered at our instruments and played until the sun came up. It was that moment we knew The Wildbirds had begun."
